Prime Pharmacy Security Policy

1. Physical Access and Facility Security

1.1. All employees must use identification cards to access Prime Pharmacy facilities. Visitor access will be monitored and controlled by security personnel.
1.2. A closed-circuit television (CCTV) system will be implemented to monitor critical areas of the facilities and ensure the security of physical assets.

2. Information Security

2.1. All personnel must adhere to Prime Pharmacy's information security policies, including protection of confidential data and prevention of unauthorized access to systems and files.
2.2. Data encryption will be utilized to protect confidential information stored on computer systems and mobile devices.

3. Cybersecurity

3.1. Cybersecurity measures, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection, will be implemented to protect Prime Pharmacy's computer systems against online threats.
3.2. All employees will receive cybersecurity training to identify and mitigate risks such as phishing attacks, malware, and other online security threats.

4. Customer Data Protection

4.1. Measures will be established to ensure the privacy and security of customers' personal information, in compliance with the provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other applicable regulations.

4.2. Access controls and authentication procedures will be implemented to restrict access to customer data only to authorized personnel.

5. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan

5.1. A business continuity and disaster recovery plan will be developed to ensure Prime Pharmacy's ability to continue operations in the event of disruptions, such as natural disasters, infrastructure failures, or cyberattacks.

5.2. Periodic testing of the disaster recovery plan will be conducted to assess its effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary.

6. Legal Compliance and Regulations

6.1. Prime Pharmacy is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding data security and privacy, including HIPAA, the California Security Breach Information and Notification Act (California SB-1386), and other relevant regulations.

6.2. A compliance officer will be designated to ensure that all company security policies align with applicable laws and regulations.
